With 38,000 square feet and 40 private rooms, the Margret J. Thomas Inpatient Care Center is the only free-standing hospice in the Tri-State area. Designed to accommodate and comfort terminally ill patients and their families, the building maintains a home-like atmosphere through the familiar elements of traditional furniture and residential spaces.

The facility is decorated throughout in a garden theme, chosen to reflect the journey of life. It extends from the interior elements of wallpaper and upholstery to the exterior landscaping, which can be viewed through the oversized windows. The building has many inviting spaces, including a great room with a library, a dining room for private family gatherings and a special children’s area. There also is an on-site chapel for times of private reflection.
